Spring Sunshine

Another Create a Critter card? :) If you don't own this cart, then you should.:)

This card is perfect for the winter we've had. We  go from 8inches of snow to 65 degree weather the next day. We need some stability, and hope spring brings us that!

This is an a2 sized card. I folded the front of the card back towards the crease to create this fold. I'm not sure what the name of it is called, but it's really easy to make! The card is fully opened but pulling the bottom of the blue layer towards you, and it opens up like a beach chair.

 

This isn't quite how it opens, but I wasn't able to hold it open all the way AND hold my camera. But you can see the pretty paper inside! 

I used my favorite stamp on the inside that reads "Wishing you a day bright with sunshine." I use this stamp all the time, I know, but it's great for everyday, thinking of you cards.

 The designer cardstock mats are by My Minds Eye. I used their 6x6 pad from their Miss Caroline by Jen Allyson collection, called  Dolled Up.

The sun is cut from an Echo Park collection, called a walk in the park.

I added some gold/cream colored buttons to the front to finish the look.
